Pastoral & Meaning-Centered Care

Trained as a pastoral counselor (D.Min., M.Div., CPE), Steve makes room for the questions clinical language alone cannot hold: forgiveness, commitment, and what you believe a life together is for.

Meaning is part of the work

Decisions about whether to stay, how to forgive, and what to owe one another are moral questions as much as psychological ones. They are treated as such here.

Never imposed

Faith is an invitation, not a requirement. Many clients hold no religious commitment at all and the work is no less rigorous for it — the frame simply follows what matters to you.

Where it helps most

Affair recovery, forgiveness and self-forgiveness, end-of-life and legacy questions, and the quiet exhaustion of high-achieving people who have lost the thread of why they are doing any of it.
